Depends on what you’re looking to treat, but there’s a ton of alternative tools. Anything from diet changes (you’d be surprised how much diet impacts things like inflammation and mental health) exercise (also surprising how much it can help), natural medicines like cannabis, CBD, and other supplements, or even things like acupuncture and reiki to help even out your body’s energy. Truly, though, the core of alternative medicine starts with self care. If you aren’t treating yourself properly and putting in the effort to do the things you know will make you healthier and happier (even if you’re having a bad day in the moment and it may not seem like it’ll help) then all the alternative treatment in the world won’t help.
