Best meds for anxiety besides benzodiazepines ? I’ve tried Zoloft , Lexapro , buspar , trazidone. Ativan helps but I can’t take that long term so any advice ? What was your experience ?
I’m 50 years young and have dealt with anxiety since age 15. Paxil and Trazodone in the evening along with Tegretol help tremendously. I am also taking a benzodiazepine called clonozapam on an as needed basis.
I take klonopan but it doesn’t help it makes me feel weird and more anxious so does Xanax , also trazidone just knocks me out scared me to death , Paxil doesn’t work well with me it’s in the red on my genesight 😭
I have been prescribed venalafaxine but all the things that are said about it scare me terribly ! Also thc and cbd I’ve wanted to try I’ve just been worried if it’s make me feel weird or panic ect ..
Hi! I take Zoloft and Klonopin when I feel very anxious.. it also helps me fall asleep in bad times. I assume everyone has to find the best drug or combination and it can take some time
