I know someone who is on medical cannabis and is very anxious to a stressful point. I am not and is way much calmer and I have anxiety issues.

No I am not opposed to meds. But my doctor is and that's why the warm compress

I would get a second opinion. Meds are what slow down the deterioration of your joints.
