Alternative Treatments for PTSD and Depression

Hello there :) As an individual suffering from PTSD and depression I'm always looking to learn about alternative treatments. Currently the only alternative treatment I use is a service dog. What are some things that have helped you beyond medication?

I have found some relief from psilocybin. I get alot of help from my faith. Dream journaling was also a massive help in dealing with my night mares.

I've been using a lot of lavender and vanilla essential oils around my house because it helps me stay calm. I keep a journal in my purse so that whenever I have an episode, I can write down the date, time, location, and what happened. If it's a flashback, I write down what I remembered. If it was a panic attack, I would write down what triggered it. Then when I go in for my therapy appointments, I take the journal out and I can talk about all of the episodes I've had since the last session. It really helped me realize what some of my triggers are, including locations.
