Other than meds, are there other treatments that might help me?

Unfortunately, without meds, not enough cognitive behavioral therapy can suppress the tsunami wave of BP2 for me. Under meds, that tsunami becomes a low tide wave coming ashore. I went from road raging, middle finger flipping lunatic to Dalai Lama after the very first month of taking Lamotrigine (generic for Lamictal). It's night and day. My doc started me off 25mg, then 50mg, then 75mg then 100mg and finally to 125mg (my current dose). My current weight is 121 lbs so my guess is that's why I've been on 125mg for 4 mos now. That's probably the most dosage my body can tolerate *shrugs* (must consult Pharmacist about this) Nonetheless, this is the reason why I'm a huge advocate for meds because it does do amazing wonders to tame the BP2 manic tsunamis. Just my two cents :)

I have found that the better I eat, the better I feel. Exercise helps too. I’m sure talking to others with BP2 would help too.
