Other than meds, are there any other treatments that might help?

That's a good idea I'll have to try that! I haven't had good results with stimulants because they make me cranky after a few days of being on them which is counterproductive for me!

I find that starting my work in the early mornings like 5am is super helpful because a) I’m a morning person and b) no one else is awake to distract me. I also found this app called Opal which works as a content blocker on your phone. It’ll block distracting apps and while I haven’t gotten to test it yet, I thought I’d at least let you know about it

@Leafy that more than often exacerbates symptoms of ADHD forost people. Not a good recommendation.

fidget toys are a big help! I'd recommend stimtastic but they're going out of business. if your doctor hasn't advised you against it, a little bit of caffeine helps too (I'm talking like 3-6mg, or the equivalent of a cup of black tea) moving around or playing music also helps me. mostly it's being able to multitask or alternate projects tho. when I'm bored with one thing I procrastinate by doing another, then switch again when I'm bored :] it's all about keeping yourself stimulated and getting a steady supply of dopamine really making tasks more fun also helps! I recommend habitica, it basically turns your to do list into a video game and you get coins for rewards for doing stuff, so it's an extra boost of dopamine! (i put even the smallest stuff like wake up on mine, the dopamine rush afterwards helps a lot)
