other than meds are there any other treatments that will help me

Electroconvulsive therapy helps a lot with my mental health disorders! If meds haven’t worked, it’s worth it to look into it. Most psych hospitals do the procedure outpatient.

@shes_gut_issues idk it seems like a scary procedure

@karaa it really isn’t…you don’t feel a thing and you’re only under the anesthesia for about 15 minutes. You might have headaches after, but they can give you Toradol with the anesthesia which helps with them. I was super scared to do it at first, but it has changed my life. Get info from your psychiatrist and the doctor that does it. The info online seems very scary because of how it has been done in the past. It is updated more now and like I said, you don’t feel a thing. Also the seizure they induce (people that are uneducated call it the “shock”) is so slight that they can only see your feet move. Your whole body doesn’t have an intense seizure. They uncover your feet and take off your shoes to do the procedure so they can see the slight movement of your feet. If you need more info, talk to your psychiatrist or the doctor that performs it or feel free to message me!

If you don't mind me asking, what state are you in? I know in my state THC requires a medical card, but CBD is available at stores.

@Lyridia I also believe it is available federally to the general public. Some states may have a much lower demand for it and not sell much though. If you do need a card you can ask your PCP about getting one— they probably won’t be able to do it themselves but can lead you in the right direction.

@karaa CBD you can just buy. Anyone can. THC needs a card in some places
