Other than medication, are there any treatments to try?

I find my anxiety is action based. I feel better if I can do something to make the situation better. Like politely stating what I think, making a plan be, or getting small things now to make the problem easier when I have to tackle it. Obviously, this doesn't always work. Sometimes I simply go for a walk, or drink some water. Try to realize what triggers your anxiety and how it makes you feel.

@Lill I realize that it's not a treatment and might not work for you and what you need, but it's the best I got.

Anxiety: My favorite therapy is one of the 3- CBT/CT/BT. I am a huge fan as a therapist of conducting therapy for Anxiety with a behavioral therapy with CBT/BT homework for the patient. I feel like my patients gain the most growth this way. Beyond typical meds: -Medical Marijuana if allowed where you live is a huge help to Anxiety and insomnia created from anxiety. -Guided Meditations. There are a lot on YouTube but the guided ones seem to work best for myself and my clients as well. With Anxiety our brains tend to wander and lose focus due to random thoughts. Guided meditations force you to keep focus on the speakers words.

What kade said yes! But not just talk therapy there's all different kinds depending on what you're dealing with and I recommend looking into it based on what outcome you're looking for! It can be a slow process but it's worth it if it makes you comfortable and happy :)

I tend to find meditation helps as well as a number of vitamins to reduce my anxiety. Creating lists and plans helps me to reduce stress and panic around new things or plans. Talk therapy can also help greatly
