Looking for alternative treatments for adult onset asthma

Hi! Other than meds, are there other treatments anyone here has used for asthma that’s worked for them? I’ve tried black coffee, exercise, 02, dairy free diet, no pork, limited red meat, and limiting dairy helped me somewhat. I do have adult onset asthma meaning I was diagnosed right after the birth of my son in 2001.

Whenever I feel a small or slight flare up (not to the point where I need my inhaler yet), I sit in my bathroom and run the water all the way on hot. The steam seems to help open up my lungs and allows me to breathe better.

Keeping up your cardio is super important! Lung capacity and exercise has helped me get through some nasty flare-ups because I’m stronger going in! I would also suggest green tea every morning, as it is an anti-inflammatory and gives your immunities a little boost

Loca raw honey helps sooo much. Lots healing properties and helps with allergies associated with you're area that triggers asthma

i’ve had asthma all my life but aside from using my inhaler when i have flare ups, i like to do breathing exercises. diaphragmatic exercises should help. in general i like to do box breathing where you inhale for 4, hold for 4, exhale for 4, and repeat.
