Alternative treatments for ADHD?

Are there other treatments other than meds that can help me with my adhd?

Cognitive behavior therapy can definitely help! Try getting a therapist or psychologist that specializes in adhd. They can do a psychological testing, seeing your personal adhd symptoms and helping you develop coping mechanisms for adhd symptoms you are struggling with!

I used to take ADHD medication but no longer do. I now work with my therapist & do my best to manage my symptoms by structuring my life in a way that works with me and not against me. Granted not everything is that simple and I still struggle, but I'm trying & my therapist helps ♥️

Actually, there is more. I take Ginkgo Biloba and Bacopa Monnieri. Combined they may support memory, mental sharpness, and mental focus. I surprisingly see a difference. They are plants used in Chinese medicine but you can find them at your grocery store! I hope this helps. There’s plenty of other supplements that can make living with ADHD easier, but these are the ones that I find help me. The specific one I use is by Spring Valley, “Brain Performance Support”. Ginkgo Biloba actually has a couple of other health benefits outside the neurological realm. I would read into the side affects for both though, because if you’re pregnant or have any serious health conditions it might interfere with that.

Mostly the boring stuff. Sleep enough, eat a well balanced diet, exercise regularly, and have a routine. None of them are quick fixes, but the more you do to help your body the better you will feel. Unfortunately, consistency is really hard to do with ADHD.
