Allergy Symptoms and Food Sensitivities

hi! I've been experiencing allergies much worse this week, along with a pounding heart (not usually fast though), waking up too early and falling back asleep after maybe an hour and then feeling fatigue for a long time. These are all on the list to watch for with reintroducing foods on the elimination diet I'm doing. I have a lot of food sensitivities and I did try to reintroduce almonds the day before this all started. I also was outside more than normal that day, though. If it's just from being outside, I wouldn't have these other problems, would I? I'm also wondering if it could be a sensitivity to histamine foods; anyone have that? thanks!

I have RA so I am always figuring out foods that make me feel good or not so much. That is why I eat chicken. Red meat makes me feel ill.

rheumatoid arthritis is RA? You might want do have a food allergy test done! Sometimes people can have issues with foods they eat often! What is your biggest issue currently?

Yes there are many foods that create histamine in your body... are you on an anti-histamine for your allergies ?

Hello, I have delt with allergies for many years. My first question is what are you taking to help your allergies? Also are you on any meds can have a side effect of a racing or fast beating heart? If you spent more time outside recently you will most likely have more allergy symptoms! Are you keeping a chart with symptoms for reintroducing foods back into your diet ? Chicken is a high histamine food. If you google high histamine foods... you should stay away from those. You seem to have many factors here operating at once!

I have never knew that chicken is an allergen. I basically only eat chicken as I am slowly trying to stick to a plant based diet. Ty for info

I know, it's so confusing! Yes, I'm keeping records of foods and symptoms daily. I am on levothyroxine but this has never happened to me (pounding). I'll tell my doctor.

I know in Boston the pollen counts have been crazy. Even the rain we have had hasn't washed it away. I have oral mouth syndrome. I can't eat peaches, plums, cherries or it seams like stone fruits definitely make me have the itchy mouth, lips and asthma acts up. I usually take my allergy medicine before eating these type fruits and usually ok. If they are canned or cooked never a problem. I hope I explained my allergies enough to understand
