Alcohol and Depression: A Vicious Cycle?

does anyone else feel really depressed the days after drinking a lot of alcohol one night? it’s especially intense the day after, but it’s like drinking puts me into a depressive episode

Alcohol is both a major and common trigger. I've struggled with this myself.

Yes, alcohol can do that to me too. I also have mood swings while I'm drinking, which can be manic OR depressive at the time. I do not drink in public places often and don't tend to get drunk
