Dealing with Alcohol-Induced Acid Reflux

Alcohol + Acid reflux I feel like when I drink, I get too hungover for it to make sense. I don’t get the normal headache etc.. I get aggressively nauseous and almost like my stomach HURTS like I burned a hole through the lining and it takes several days to heal. Anyone else deal with this? Or have any idea what it could be?

I do too! No idea what it is but it only happens when I drink certain things! I started drinking Bacardi superior when we have drinks and have not had that happen since. May have been coincidence but I'm sticking to what works with me lol.

I find vodka is the least offensive to my system. I’m ok with organic wine too.

I have to be SUPER careful with added sulfites. It started like this with horrid stomach pains and escalated to full body swelling. I barely drink anymore and I’m extra careful about what I drink. Probably not what you want to hear.

I have no idea what it could be but I also get that pain in my stomach. I don't even drink anymore because I get sick with stomach pain and a headache before I can even finish. When it happened the worst times though, I realized it was from mixing liquor with lemonade. Now IF I have a drink, I use cranberry juice. It's a bit easier on the tummy for me but I still avoid alcohol the best I can because the immediate symptoms and the week long rebound constipation from my IBS is not worth it.
