The Struggle of Wanting to Be with People but Unable to Leave Home

Something I really hate about being agoraphobic is that other people don't understand that I don't like being alone. I just can't go outside. I don't want to be at home. I want to be with people, but I don't want to disappear on them randomly or have to cry in a public bathroom. It sucks. It's awful.

People have never understood that I'm an extrovert with agoraphobia. I love people, I love being with people! I just have to be in an extremely controlled environment with exactly the right people or things are gonna get bad quick haha

I get you it's awful I have agoraphobia for 12 yrs now and I can't get out alone either. I want to do things and be around people but I'm too scared I start to get really nervous and hot flashes it's terrible I lose all coordination and freeze I feel like I running and hiding under a table. 🥺
