How to Advocate for Yourself with Your Doctor When Treating PAH

You need to learn every thing you can about it and be your own advocate. If those Dr do not help you find new ones you know you best and to some Dr your just a number find some one that will fight the right with you. Good luck.

Do you feel like your needs aren’t being met or they’re not taking your symptoms seriously? I think for me, it’s been helpful to be informed about what tests I should be doing regularly so I know what to ask about. If you feel like your doctor isn’t helping you to the fullest extent it may be helpful to get a second opinion. I keep a list and ask my doctor a ton of questions so I feel like I know what’s going on. Hope that helps. 🤷🏻‍♀️
