Is it normal to have to constantly fight your doctor for a diagnosis? i feel like I'm the only one advocating for myself. it's definitely disheartening.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. It, unfortunately, is SO common and something that nearly every person with a chronic illness has battled. I’d suggest seeing different doctors, if possible. Also, researching for yourself and providing them articles/data to support your suggestions is helpful. I hope you find the help you deserve asap 😊

EDSzebra is absolutely right. I would keep going to other doctors until you can find one who adheres to your needs and actually listens. I was ( formally ) diagnosed with fibromyalgia by a rheumatologist. It took nearly 2 years for me, but I finally got the answers I needed! Good luck to you! ❤️
