I have an iud. Prior, I was taking oral birth control. Personally it didn't work because it caused mental health challenges and didn't help with my period. I got an iud 2 years ago. Super super painful insertion and months of regular cramps but I'm over the hump and it's helped w my PCOS a lot and as a birth control

I was really lucky to find the right pill the first time. they switched to a different manufacturer and it made me really sick. i’ve had other issues with the pill, including being taken off of it, which made me realize that once you find what works well, it can be incredibly helpful.

Ive been taking birth control for my PCOS for almost a year now and I find it to be pretty helpful in regulating both my period and my moods. Whenever I don't take it I'm definitely grumpier.

I've been on it before, I felt like it was giving me mood swings, I'm not on it anymore. But most people I know dont have any problems, there are lots of different types, and everybody is different, so you may have to work with your doctor and experiment to find one that works best for you.

It took awhile for me to find my perfect match! I love the xulane patch. it’s so easy to use and i haven’t had bad side effects. I am so much more regular in my cycle.
