One suggestion is to start by having a cup of coffee or tea, then begin writing what you need to pack, what you want to donate, and what you want to get rid of. You could also look for apartments online and call some agencies. If possible, consider staying at a friend's or relative's home for a week until you find a new place, or rent an Airbnb. Another option is to get a storage unit and put everything in there, packing a couple bags of essentials and getting a motel room for a few nights. Remember that moving is stressful and it's okay to feel overwhelmed.
