Most kids just want to be with Mommy. Use that. 6 and 8 is so much better than 1 and 3. I learned a lot from my aunt who had polio as a child. Her legs didnt allow her to do much upright. But we loved doing the things that were hard for her. She loved spending time with us. It just led to closer bonding. It's working out very similar with my POTS and the grandkids (10 and 14 when it started).
