Advice for adjusting back to home environment after treatment?

Hi everyone💕 anyone have advice for adjusting back to a home environment after being in residential and PHP out of state? i have really heightened anxiety and am easily triggered into panic attacks. my family has been great and very supportive but don’t understand my anxiety, panic, and depression like those in a treatment environment do. it seems they they are thinking that they picked up a totally different person than they dropped of at residential. i am super happy to be home though — I just feel like i am living in two different realities.

One thing I learned in recovery (from several things, not just my ED) is that sometimes we have to teach people how to love and support us. Can you offer them some guidance in what is helpful? Or share stories from inpatient of you getting the kind of care you crave?
