Not a meal, but when I'm sick to my stomachat the thought of eating because of my medication, Boost protein shakes are a LIFESAVER.

It's good if you're just desperate to get anything in your system.

I love nature's bakery fig bars and their oatmeal crumble. My problem is that I am sometimes nauseous and sick to my stomach in the am so idk what to eat. But y'all have good ideas.

Those aren’t all necessarily the healthiest but they can help give you things you need if you have a lot of sensory issues like me with food lol

sometimes my appetite is so low but i know that i need to eat food so i’ll just have a smoothie or protein shake because it’s easier to drink something than it is to eat + i get some good nutrients

I can SO relate. It's such a helpful fact to remember it is so so much easier to drink your calories than it is to eat them. Smoothies and milkshakes basically saved my brain and body from getting really sick. I use a lot of canned coconut milk and peanut butter to pack on the calories haha

It's such a good question! My husband who also has ADHD said that his doctor said eating animal protein is REALLY important for people who have ADHD, especially anyone taking Adderall. So, whey protein powder blended with milk and an avocado (good fats for your brain), and peanut butter and chocolate syrup or something like that.

Power Bowl meals. They're frozen dinners that have surprisingly good ingredients and are under $4. I also have a snack basket in my kitchen. It has granola bars, pudding, fruit cups, fruit leather, small cracker bags, etc. Just grab and go! Also trail mix was a nice savior. I like keeping fruit handy to snack on. Or veggies with veggie dip. Beef jerky lasts a while and is quick protein as well. Tuna sandwiches are easy. :)

yes! Same here and when it comes to fruits and veggies I try and get them cut up and ready to eat as soon as I get them because if there is even one additional step other than grab and go ill probably not bother with it then it ends up going bad
