The Misconceptions About ADHD

Dude do yk whati hate? how the world percieves people with adhd- like alot of neurotypical people assume that to have adhd u have to be bouncing off the walls and super energetic all the time and half the time dont even believe u have it if u have adhd but arent energetic. like its more of a focusing issue and just ppl with adhd tend to thing a bit differently, not a how energized are u thing yk, people always just assume im faking it for attention its so annoying

I completely get this. When I went to the GP to start my diagnosis for ADHD the Dr looked me (a larger bloke) up and down and said "well it's not going to be hyperactive is it. Its more likely ADD"

I feel you, I feel like that’s what delayed my diagnosis so much. I’m extremely lethargic all of the time.
