Does anyone else experience memory loss from thier ADHD? My memory is really bad and I'm not sure if it is due to my ADHD or epilepsy.

People with ADHD do have memory issues. It is a well known symptom. We have object permanence that also can be connected to people permanence. Both where we forget about where something is, forget a person's name, forget that the object and/or person exists as well. Also when we get really angry our prefrontal cortex can shutdown so if someone brings up a fight and asks what the fight was about and you can't fully remember it is because our impulse control just shut down so we just react but don't fully know what we did.

They are probably right, but taking a neuro test would definitely be useful. I had no idea that I had ADHD until I took one. I also feel like my meds make it worse. What are you on?

I have both. I don't think I can tell. I was told by a psychiatrist I have ADHD but someone else told me I should get a neuropsychological test for ADHD. My memory is super bad and the meds don't help of course. I'm hoping one day to get non stimulant meds so I can actually treat my ADHD. IDK if I need a neuropsychological test to confirm it though?
