ADHD meds and feeling tired: anyone else?

Yes! I read about this and you may be feeling tired bc you didnt get enough sleep. Apparently, with ADHD if you aren't getting enough sleep your brain may not process that youre tired so you wont feel tired. With medication it helps your brain slow down and realize that you are in fact tired

Going through the same thing at the moment but I’m realizing it’s the weather and the holidays are over and nothing to look forward to until spring. I just want to take a nap sometimes but I can’t because my meds are keeping me awake 😞. I was good before and during the holidays on the same meds I’m on now. Just diagnosed in October 2021.
