I'm looking to get back on medication to help with my ADHD. I've been unmedicated for years now, just utilizing therapy and coping mechanisms. But, it's gotten to the point where I feel like I don't have control. (adhd paralysis is the main bother rn) I've had bad experiences with Adderall. Are there any medications that you recommend/ have had good experience with?

adderall just made me sleepy. vyvanse has helped me deal with that paralysis much better.

I take Vyvanse and it works best for me! And I don't get irritable like I do in Adderall.

Ritalin is a really good common one that works well with a lot of people because of it's flexibility. You should definitely look into it

@Jo__00 thank you! I'll talk to my doctor, I know starting to find a new medication/ dosage is a journey but I appreciate having somewhere to start!
