Asking for ADHD medication outside of college

Hello my name is Andrea so a couple of yrs ago I asked my psychiatrist if he could give me something because I can’t pay attention good I forget what people told me in the last 5 minutes cause my mind is always thinking of something else but my phycaitrist told me he couldn’t help me cause I’m not in college so I really don’t need to pay attention do u think is a good idea if I asked his colleague if she can have something for my add

I’d maybe recommend seeing another psychiatrist it seems like this one isn’t really listening or meeting your needs. I don’t think you can ask his colleague because that is not your psychiatrist.
