How to Tell if Your ADHD Medication is Effective

It’s hard to tell honestly especially if other issues are going on which is my problem but it can give more energy and focus to do a task, motivation basically to just sit down and do something however making that focus go on the right thing is difficult, for example you take the meds and intend to do your taxes that day but end up researching Egyptian mythology for 9 hours without really taking a break lol so regulation is another challenge, for me my medication doesn’t rly help me as I have autoimmune diseases that stop me functioning but I feel worse without them like more tired and stressed so I take them anyway

You might feel like you can collect your thoughts, or can get up and go do a task or chore straight away without struggle, or your mind/thoughts might quieten down. I haven't personally been on medication but this is what I've heard from others.
