My therapist said I should look into getting tested for ADHD, because I definitely struggle with my focus. I told her that at one point I thought I had it and my PCP gave me adderall and I just didn’t like the way I felt when I took it. Like I had to be focused on something and if I didn’t it was like I’d crash. She’s suggesting I try a non-stimulant med for ADHD. What are y’all’s experiences with ADHD and meds? And getting tested for it.
