I have a fascinating thought to share! just watched a video called '5 Interesting Facts About ADHD' that may explain why I have adhd. I didn't really ever think about the why mostly just how to fix it because I was so frustrated at that point. I find it fascinating though! It talks about how researchers don't know the direct cause of adhd but there are links between adhd and genetics. They also point out that premature birth and/or if the mother is under high stress or is using drugs and alcohol during pregnancy could also be related. I was adopted at birth so I don't know much information. I do know I was 6 weeks early and I know she smoked cigarettes. I think in the little paperwork I have it said she had done drugs in the past but I don't know if it was during or around the time of pregnancy or not. I don't know much else except diabetes ran very high in her family and I have no information on my birth father.
