What do you guys do for your ADHD and/or executive dysfunction? I've taken Adderall RX a long time off and on but the physical side effects are strong. I'm considering asking about going on Strattera, a non stimulant drug.

@Jennie01 That's also in the UK. Vitamins don't help with ADHD but it could be different down there.

I've been able to deal with my ADHD symptoms more in my thirties without medication, but when I was on any medication in my twenties, the non-stimulants were less effective in terms of focus, but were less harsh to take physically. I struggled more with hyperactive thoughts, focus, and finishing tasks with my ADHD, so the non-stimulants just weren't for me personally. I don't know what particular symptoms you have and/or struggle with, but I'd definitely talk to your PCP/specialist on what's best for you and your body. Good luck ❤

Some individuals with ADHD have shared their experiences with different medications. One person mentioned taking Strattera and not experiencing any noticeable side effects, while it worked quite well for them. Another individual mentioned taking Vyvanse and experiencing appetite suppression, teeth grinding, and changes in social behavior as side effects, but found the benefits outweighed these. Adderall was also mentioned by a few people, with one noting a loss of appetite as a side effect. Some individuals also mentioned that they had tried Strattera and found it helpful. It's important to discuss these options with a healthcare provider to determine what might work best for you.
