Struggling with ADHD and Depression: Coping without Medication

Anyone found any good methods for focus and motivation aside from medication? Really struggling, on a waiting list now to start to titrating ADHD medication but in the meantime I don't know what else to do, and combined with my chronic depression I'm constantly exhausted, but also restless and unable to maintain focus on anything.

Break every task into several small pieces. Then if you have to, contract with yourself to complete 3 (as an example) before lunch; or whatever would help to keep you on task. That’s helped me the most.

yep that really helps me! and also making sure to take lots of breaks! i will set timers to remind myself to just sit for a sec!

Taking vitamin D has actually really helped me, and then I have an app called habitica that makes completing a to-do list a game and that helps motivate me.
