Try "Brain Dumping" before needing to do homework. Set a timer and take a break for 10 min when you lose focus. Check-in with yourself before you start. Am I hungry? If so, have snack. Do I have to use the bathroom? Etc... if you can pick a time of day where you feel more alert and focused. Just some thoughts

I rushed and did all the work on the first day in math and science. And just took my time with everything else. Set timers for 5 minutes at home to bring me back into the work or telling me I can take a break. Music is also a good thing to have or play to stay focused

i typically use some sort of fidget like a stress ball or something i can hold in one hand while I’m working

Like, "is this shirt itchy?" Then I should wear a different shirt, "is my water full?" It's just what works for me

Quiet room, but sometimes quiet is too quiet, so eliminate all distractions, when I'm doing hw I put on socks cause my feet get cold so I won't think about how cold my feet are getting. Idk lol. Fidget cubes help!

I agree with going into a quieter room a big problem for me was being in a room with lots of different distractions

Are you allowed to listen to music? 😊 also if there is a option to go into another room while working, like if your school has a room that’s quieter, I found that helpful for me, sometimes fidgets can also help, like small fidgets on your fingers that aren’t to distracting 💕

yea I listen to music in class for the whole 8 hours of school I feel as if I cannot live without listening to music atleast once in my day. I listen to music while doing my work then I just end up figeting and getting distracted😭or sometimes I would listen to music and people around me would be speaking, and my brain just picks up every word their saying when Im trying not to focus on that..
