Could my ADHD be Bipolar Disorder?

I wanted to ask if anybody feels like their adhd could be bipolar disorder because it’s hard to diagnose based on feeling and I’ve just been so easy to switch emotions recently, but unsure if it’s the stomach flu I’m going through

I have both! It was difficult to get my bipolar 2 diagnosis because it appeared to just be adhd and depression. But I’m just starting my bipolar 2 journey and beginning to understand why I have done what I have done!

i recently was diagnosed with both and i think there’s certain things that are different with both. like with bipolar i always feel like disconnected with myself like i’m far away and my emotions go from really really happy to like the worst thing in the world just happened in an instant. with adhd i’ve noticed i get mad super easy and i can never focus or remember anything and i’m always just a bit hyper. i also lose everything, i’ll be holding something and just drop it because i’m distracted from something else but i think that with adhd emotions can change quick as well

ADHD and bipolar can be misdiagnosed with one-another. Most bipolar diagnosis happens when a person is psychiatrically hospitalized. If you’re unsure about having ADHD, take the World Health Organization’s ADHD Self Report Questionnaire.
