I’m not diagnosed with autism but I have a lot of similarities with autistic people. I am diagnosed with adhd tho. And I totally relate to this! I want a super organized space and a very specific routine, but I have such a hard time attaining these things! I wish I had tips but just wanted to say you’re not alone!

Yes! My BF made me cry the other day because I came home to having the rest of our stuff unpacked and the house clean
I definitely experience this. With my autism I desperately want and need my house to be organized but my ADHD makes this impossible, I can’t seem to ever keep things organized and I don’t know where to start and get very overwhelmed with just the thought!

YES! I constantly want everything to be neat but can't bring myself to keep things neat
@Saturn_Silver FOR REAL!! in a perfect world, my room would be spotless and all orderly but its so hard to clean it, much less keep it clean 3

@Junky honest to God, I wish life were like the Sims. I moved 5 months ago and between my audhd and my chronic pain/fatigue, I have barely unpacked anything. I want things to be as easy as the Sims or I had telekinesis or something so I can make things be where my brain just *wants* them to be.

Some organization tips for people with ADHD include making lists, using planners or bullet journals, setting alarms or timers, creating routines, and breaking tasks into smaller steps. Additionally, having designated places for items, labeling things, and seeking help from others can also be beneficial in staying organized.
