Addicted to Daytime Sleep: Anyone Else?

Does anybody else not really WANT to stop sleeping during the day LOL? Like sometimes I don’t want to take my medication, I feel like I’m addicted to the peacefulness of sleep.

I personally don’t want to stop dreaming. I have such vivid dreams and I remember all of them- I also lucid dream quite often! Even if it’s a bad dream or it scares me, I don’t want to wake up. I’m curious to see where it goes and want to live somewhere other than this reality I guess. Somewhere where I don’t have all of these problems and stressors. It always sucks though when I wake up at 5 pm because I feel groggy/sick and can’t do anything because it’s too late in the day-

I completely agree! especially since I’m pretty sure I just find sleeping during the day more peaceful and easier? I like to be awake at night because it’s calmer and quieter. I get so worn out in the daytime.

I’ve fixed my life to be able to sleep during the day. It takes a lot of work but it is worth it

Idk. I can't tell if my medication works or not. I would prefer to stay awake but I still get tired after taking my medicine, then when I try to nap I just lay there tired and my heart hurts because it's racing and I'm not doing anything. However, my neurologist said it's still normal to naps, and it's encouraged because it usually helps, but I don't think they mean hour(s) long naps lol
