Looking for others with ADD/ADHD

Hi :) recently came across this app and was most interested in finding people who also struggle with ADD/ADHD. I'm interested in hearing others symptoms and how they cope

But I have a skepticism of medication not that because I think its fake or anything but just as a value and principle of mine. So you should feel valid for that. but look into the one that would suit you the best and talk to a therapist/psychologist/psychiatrist

even when im on my best days or best grind or doing well I still end up being depressed. I understand the fear about medication but you will never know until you try. Once Cannabis is legal in your place of residency I think that might be the best option for most people with ADHD. A high CBD blend with very little "high" effects. I take CBD capsules daily and it makes a difference. I am going to try Omega3 supplements soon

Actually, the thought of being dependent on anyone is the scariest thing to me. I want independence and stability more than anything

Kirin I hear you. I also struggle with all those things. I'm also severely depressed right now because of the way my brain works. Sometimes I feel like I'll never be able to live a normal normal life I want to be dependent on those around me forever. I'm so afraid to try medication

I was diagnosed with ADHD this November. I have severe problems with executive dysfunction and time blindless... I loose interest in hobbies and vocations quickly. I've always felt like a failure for being unable to complete higher education or stick with a job long term. I always thought these things were because of my depression but it turns out that my depression may actually be caused by my ADHD.

I try to just allow myself time to buckle down for a moment if I have responsibilities. It’s a process, but I always remember to not be hard on myself about it. We didn’t choose this life.
