Acute Back Pain on Lower Right Side

I have acute back pain on lower right side. Not sure what to think. Could be a kidney stone. Pain is terrible and subsided with Advil.

Hi, I had acute pain in my back once, the pain would come in attacks for 20 minutes and then suddenly disappear and come back again. I writhed in pain until I went to the emergency room where they did a CT scan and found out that I really had a kidney stone. How long have you had the pain? Is it similar to what I described? Try to think maybe you lifted something heavy or did some wrong turn with your back that caused it because it could also be a tight muscle.
