Yeah and it's even harder when the abuse is because you're autistic. It just adds trauma to trauma you're not even aware you have

What sucks more is that we're already more prone to trauma due to how our brain works, but then you add in abuse and gaslighting and the instinct to continue trusting people we already trust (parents, caregivers, friends, partners, etc), it really feels like I made an easy target for people to take advantage of me.
