Altitude and Symptoms: Seeking Advice

i live in el paso texas (3740' altitude) and have been spending a lot of time in houston (79' altitude) i have noticed a world of difference in how severe my symptoms and pain are. wanting to know if anyone else has noticed these changes depending on altitudes and if y'all have any recommended places to live where symptoms would be minor?

      @Alfubet that makes absolute sense! im just now finding out my body is super sensitive to it, as well. i've never traveled often and just the last 4 months in houston have felt world's of difference from home. might consider moving somewhere low in altitude very soon

      Barometric pressure and oxygen saturation change with altitude. Our bodies naturally expand and contract with changes in the barometric pressure. That’s why some people can tell when it’s going to rain from various aches in their body. My body is super sensitive to changes in barometric pressure.

        @Alfubet I’m in South East Arizona and have traveled all over the country for work. I feel the best at home. We also don’t get storms very often so weather related barometric pressure changes are minimal.

      Are your symptoms better at lower altitude? I live at 13' altitude and when I visited Albuquerque 5,312′ altitude I was so sick i could hardly walk it was awful

        @Foof should've specified, yes! my symptoms are way worse at higher altitude.
