Struggling with Type 1 Diabetes and Overweight

I'm type two diabetes and it's hard trying to find the right diet for it

Yes. It’s honestly to be expected considering we take a synthetic insulin, which causes us to gain weight. Then we have lows and need low snacks then we may spike and need a correction to cover a high bg- it’s a cycle lol. Best thing that worked for me was gf/df diet and walking for 45 mins a day lost about 15lbs in a month and a half but then the pandemic hit and my routine was thrown off and my eating habits went to crap
