I think there's three phases in schizophrenia and when you are progressing to the residual phase you will have less positive symptoms and more negative symptoms though everyone is different.

For me, loss of insight was a huge factor in my schizophrenia's progression. Also the vividness and frequency of auditory hallucinations for me.

I don't know, I guess it depends for everyone
