This is my first time saying anything on here, so apologies if this out of place. However, one of my tics is constant wheezing and it worries other people and makes them uncomfortable. Is there a way I can do it less somehow?

I wouldn't recomend suppressing your tics if your capable of it. My entire life I've done it, and because of it, they got worse :/ to put people's minds at ease maybe just try to assure them that you're okay and it'll pass? I find educating people on my TS calms them down. On a side note, one of/my first tic was also aggressive hiccups lol

One of my tics sounds like very very loud and aggressive hiccups! It worries people all of the time. When people inevitably stare at me or give me unsolicited hiccup cures I just say that it’s Tourette’s. If you are fine and unharmed by your tics that’s all that matters. If you want to address it you can but do not feel obligated.
