Hey there! So, I know things are bleak at times. I know that people here feel many different things, both here and elsewhere. So, here's one idea I want you all to consider. Actually, two ideas: 1. The world is a lot better than you think it is. 2. You are more important, capable, and worthy than you think. How, you may ask? Well, I back it up with science and history. A great example of both is a figure named John Brown. To my knowledge, he grew so fed up with slavery that he took up arms against it in the 1800s (no, violence is not typically wise, just hear me out). He was part of the abolitionist movement, which advocated for the immediate liberation of all slaves. John Brown, acting in defense of slaves, inspired a swift end to slavery. If the world was all evil, would John brown be as important as he is in this light? Are you not as capable in peaceful ways? Another example of things improving is the aftermath of history's worst tragedies. Bronze Age collapse (c. 1200-1150 BCE) and the Black Plague (1346-1353). The Bronze Age collapse basically had an ancient version of our modern day, all interconnected and all in the Old World (Europe, Asia, etc. to my knowledge). But, it collapsed, and a great many terrible things occured to many people; but we became better, did we not? Did we not find ways to prevent natural disasters, and better stable? And of the aftermath of the Black Plague, did we not overcome our pride and go to actual evidence to advance medicine, and go on to same millions of live because of it? Everything will be fine. Back in the past, people didn't bave access to clean water, medicine, electricity, grocery stores, the ability to change jobs... Everything will be fine. You are very capable, and I believe in you all. You are worthy, and loved too much to deny. Don't let your doubt consume you; you're too strong for that. :)
