I’m pretty isolated as well. I’m young and living in an area where it’s 90% retirement communities and struggling to find people remotely my age let alone who understand my health challenges and limitations. And isolation is not helping my mental health to say the least. I’m happy to talk anytime.

I think you are in the right place! Online communities for people going through similar challenges, are a good way to “meet” people and get info. Plus you can write when you feel up to it and rest when you need to
