I’m late to this thread but I wanna say I’m 19 and have had it for two years now. Being so young and not being in a relationship at the time I contracted hsv terrified me that I would die alone, however, since my diagnosis I’ve had six different sexual partners, two of which were actual boyfriends. It has scared a couple people away but most will hear you out and still be into you anyways as long as you get to know them a bit before disclosing and you disclose in an informative and confident manner. You don’t want to be with someone uneducated and judgmental anyways, right? There is a Ted Talk and lots of TikTok accounts that helped me gain some more confidence around my diagnosis. Hope they can help you as well!

I heard a lady one time say that this virus is just like a irritating skin condition (which is mostly is), it's not deadly and there are so many different remedies/medicines/ vitamins for it. Ever since then, that's what I say to myself whenever I feel discouraged. It takes time and will be some difficult days but there are many different support groups on YouTube, FB and IG that you can follow. Sometimes talking it out with people who understand really does make the difference. After a while, having an outbreak won't even be that bad...it'll just be something that happens 🤷🏽‍♀️ lol just take it a day at a time and do research to find what's best for you. Good luck!

It deff takes a minute to get over it but it’s common. Take seamoss it’s helped me body detoxes can help a lot to. When I first found out I had it I felt like I was going crazy there’s no way this isn’t curable .. I’ve looked almost every few days just researching and researching but you come across things that can definitely help. You’ll get there!
