Just wanted to share some happy news! I was able to go out of town and visit my best friend in LA and not get glutened! She researched GF restaurants in her area, but most importantly took me grocery shopping so I could feel safe and comfortable eating the food in her home. We had meals that were cooked or served in a way that allowed for no cross contamination. I think it’s easy to feel like we can’t do anything anymore because of gluten, but there’s hope! Finding those kinds of friends/family is certainly a privilege, but it still made me happy enough to share 🥰

Oh my gosh! LA the state or the city? I imagine Los Angeles would be pretty celiac friendly, but I’ve never been so idk!

Los Angeles is what I mean! LA is very gluten free fad diet friendly, but celiac is a different story as we all know. It was soooo fun to travel!

Good! I’m so glad to hear that. I love the “Find Me GF” app when I’m traveling. And I always have a food stash bag or go to the store. I was hoping you were talking about Louisiana because I’m craving some Cajun & creole goodness rn

There is a celiac friendly Cajun place near my house and I could not be more grateful 🤤
