I feel like I’m trapped in every direction. I’m full time (part time student) because I’m taking really challenging classes an can’t handle the intensity of the classes. I’m currently taking 3 classes. 2 in person and one completely online. The one I’m struggling with right now is Psychology. I just can’t remember the information. And my test is on Friday. I don’t take failing well… I have so much anxiety. I don’t even have a passion or purpose. I’m just going to school to ensure I get a good paying job.

I feel the same as you do! I think I’m going to withdraw from one of my classes and take it at a later time, if you have a serious reason for withdrawal (mental health) they will probably let you at whatever stage of school you’re in.

I can understand with everything on your plate, the reason why you say you feel trapped. I have felt this way too. In the moment it feels very overwhelming. First of all, give yourself some compassion because yes you're classes are challenging and it makes sense the anxiety you get with it, so don't beat yourself up for it, be nice to yourself. I hear you, I have faith in you, you got this. I know you can do everything you can to help yourself study for the test. Once you take it, you and everyone on here will be proud of the efforts you made, regardless of your score. 😁 Focus on the present, and remember you are on a journey👍🏻

I would also exercise, get plenty of sleep, and eat a healthy diet. Create a meal plan and set goals for yourself. You can accomplish this if you really go all in!

Create a routine every day and decide when and what you will study. Wake up early and be done by 5pm. It’s a full time job to be in school.

I would get the main ideas of the material. Then go back for more details. Put keywords and definitions on notecards and study those a few at a time. When you get a few right add in a few more at a time.

Do as much as you can. You have to start valuing different things than your school. If your able to get a lot done but not finish, that’s awesome. School wasn’t made for struggling people, so set your own acedemic goals
