43 Years of Depression: Is There No Hope?

I have had depression for 43 years. It seems that my doctors don't think that's unusual. I've been taking anti-depressants for.... let me work this out.... 43 years. If I'm still suicidal now, doesn't that indicate SOME kind of failure?

I do find that once uou get on antidepressants they think their work is done. Do you have support?

No, unfortunately, I don't. My husband fins me at best irritating, and at worst pathetic when I'm down. I have no family I can confide in, and I don't have friends. Them's the breaks, I guess...
