If your friend was in a certain situation that your experiencing, you wouldnt be so hard on them like you are yourself, you try n help and support. You are your friend, so treat yourself like it.

It helps to remind myself that most “adults” don’t even know what they’re doing. Being in therapy really helps me to feel supported and not alone in adulthood. While there are a lot of responsibilities being an adult, there are also a lot of perks. Being able to choose where we live, what we wear, what we do. It’s all about perspective for me.

One thing that helps me is listing out all the small things I'm looking forward to about adulthood and being in charge of myself, even tiny things like "having all matching pj tops and bottoms"

Baby steps, one step at a time, small goals; you can't reach for the stars without a rocket, and you can't build that rockey without the parts. don't be so hard on yourself, your only human. learn more about yourself and learn to love and trust yourself, before anyone else. If you want it, to get it; no one is going to hand it to you. The only one stopping you, is you. People are assholes, take it with a grain of salt. Don't accept criticism from people you wouldn't accept advice from. Make time for yourself, and childish things. Being an adult doesn't mean give up all childish things. And remember, when you fall down you did not fail; and you are getting back up from experience. If you give up even at the hardest times, it will be harder to get back up.
