hi I am a 30 year old female who recently got ear tube placement surgery. I have always had ringing of the ears since I can remember but recently developed a whooshing pulsating sound in my left ear post ear tube placement.. I've called my ent Dr and he prescribed me methylprednisolone. I am unsure whether I am comfortable enough to take it because it is a steroid and I am on a beta blocker for high blood pressure. you also read on great ole Google that it could possibly be an aneurysm or something more serious... has anyone had these symptoms?

usually the pulsing can be a result of an underlying disease, i suggest getting it checked out by a specialist who can run tests to pinpoint the cause. i am thinking of doing this because i dont want to be blindsided by possible issues causing it
